This roof console is built with the same no-nonsense practicality as your Troopy. Made from steel—just like the rest of your rig—it ditches the bulk and flex of MDF or plywood in favor of strength, simplicity, and durability. Pre-cut holes make wiring a breeze, and the flat layout is ready for whatever custom touches you want to throw at it.
Install takes minutes - literally. Just slot it in, and if you want a bit more peace of mind you can lock it down with the included cable ties. It’s designed to be modular too, so whether you’re adding switches, mounting a UHF, or building out lockable compartments, it’s ready to adapt.
Fits 75 and 78 Series Troopcarriers from 1985 through to 2024 or so (see below for pics). For 2023+ models, the fit is snug—tight enough that you’ll want a mate in the passenger seat to help push it into place. But it does fit, and it looks tidy once it’s in (check the Sandy 2023 install with radar in the customer gallery).
2023+ Fitment Note
In 2024/2025 Toyota added a little map light (not on all models) and unfortunately it blocks my consoles from fitting. It looks like this trim could be removed pretty easily if yer keen?!

Installing your Troopy Roof Console is as simple as it gets:
- Align – Hold the console up to the ceiling with the front edge angled slightly upward.
- Clip In Front – Push the front edge into place above the windscreen.
- Lift & Click – Rotate the rear up and press firmly until it clicks into position.
- Done – Check it’s flush and secure. No screws, no stress.
